Teaching and coaching
Deborah has taught and coached singing, piano and theory for as long as she can remember. She has successfully taught singing at all levels from amateur to professional. She worked for Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools for four years, giving children with a flair for the performing arts a “stepping-stone” to the professional world of performing.
She has had student successes from opera to musical theatre and regularly runs workshops for Cameron Mackintosh on Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera at the Queens Theatre in the West End of London.
She has always taught piano along side singing and has also achieved great success from the early grades to diploma levels.
Deborah’s interest in helping others to understand more about the history and theory of music has also led to her develop classes for people of all levels of musical understanding to learn more about Western Music, its composers and how it came to be what it is today.
